Alaska

Painless

I love to write. It is a obsession that most people my age find frustrating, annoying, and just a waste of time.

Writing is a way to relieve stress. I can write about anything, everything, and not be judged as a person (Outside of the classroom of course).

The plot I bring forth today is the tale of a young woman named Sara Partridge, better known as Alaska Partridge. For her entire life she was dotted over by her eccentric Grandmother "Gran" or better known as Melinda Garnet.

The relations between the two was unbreakable. Making Melinda a second mother to Alaska. That was until Melinda was diagnosed with breast cancer, and past away.

We began to see the thought process of Alaska unwind as the story continues. And secrets her Grandmother kept from her become so obvious they show up on her doorstep, then outside her window, stealing her away into the night to allow destiny to decide the fate of the universe, God, and Best Friend Ben up in the shaking hands of a naive thirteen-year-old girl.

Half of the characters in this are ones I have had in my mind for my entire life time. Alaska is a recreation of myself, except with alittle more common sense.

I DID write this. This is MY story. If you wish to post it for others to read, ask my permission. I ask if you see this same writing elsewhere under another name to tell me immediately through e-mail or private messaging. I hate being like this, but this is my baby. I don't want it stolen.

I do have other stories currently in the process, one is in a writer's block and being rewritten, like this was. The other is still currently in the though process at the moment.
